Another opportunity for UPSC aspirants who didn’t appear in 2011

Today:- A big thank you smile came on civil aspirants after the government decided to give them an extra chance to the students who didn’t appear in 2011 due to the introduction of CSAT.
After a huge battle for the change in CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test), finally they received the immunity otherwise some felt their UPSC dream is in jeopardy.
The whistle blower into the matter was Central Administrative Tribunal, who asked the UPSC to provisionally allow the students an extra attempt this year.
More than four lakhs aspired way back in 2011, the exact number is 4, 72,290, out of which 2, 43,003 appeared.
The lawyer handling the case, Avinash Mani Tripathi, said the order applies to all to applied, but opted out due to CSAT.
The exams are scheduled to be conducted on 23 August 2015 at various exams centres.
