Campaigning For DUSU Election Ends Today…

Today:- The campaigning for DUSU (Delhi University Student Union) ends todayand the election to be held on September 11. Students wings participating in the elections are ABVP (Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad), NSUI (National Students Union of India) and the new entry CYSS (Chatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti), the flagship student wing of AAP.
The election mainly focuses on four important posts: President, Vice President, Secretary and joint secretary.
The congress affiliated NSUI (National Students Union of India) has opens their black box. Gaurav Tushir, a student from Moti Lal Nehru College will fight for the president post, Mona Chaudhary of Law faculty will fight for Vice President post,Amit Singh Timma and Abhishek Chaudhary for Secretary and joint secretary respectively.IN15_DUSU_ELECTION_1584541g
BJP’s ABVP has declared Mohit Nagar and Pravesh Malik of Buddhist studies for the president and vice president post respectively. Kanika Shekhawat of ARSD College and Ashutosh Mathur of Zakhir Husain College are nominated for Secretary and joint secretary post.
Hitanshi Chauhan from Satyavati college, Garima Rana and Rahul Raj Aryan of Hindu College and Kuldeep Bhiduri of Dayanand Anglo-Vedic (PGDAV) College will contest the elections on behalf of CYSS.
AISA (All India Student Association) has nominated Madhurima Kundu of Hindu College, Aman Nawaj of Dayal Singh College, Aman Gautam of Shri Venketashwar College and Vikramaditya of Buddhist Studies, for four posts respectively.
The Students Federation of India (SFI), Arunachal Students Federation (ASF) and All India Democratic Student Organization (AIDSO) have collaborated and formed an alliance called Left Student’s Front (LSF). They have nominated Vikram Singh, Prashant Mukherjee, Shre and Deepak Jha for four posts.
There is another new entry named Chanakya Parishad to contest the elections.They nominated Aditya Pandey and Shahroz of Satyawati College for the post of President and Vice-President. Divyanshu Priyam of Hansraj College and Antriksh Rana of SGND College are nominated for Secretary and Joint Secretary.
