CBSE class X board exams ghost likely to haunt again

Today:- The Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE) might recommend some startle changes in the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) scheme. The committee will gather on table to discuss the education policy on Wednesday.
This would be the first meeting on education under NGA regime. The key points to be discussed will be the over weight of schoolbags of the children and the performance of NCC and NSS in schools and colleges.
Other brainstorming issues discussed would be conduction of CBSE’s problem solving assessment in class V and VIII respectively instead of IX and XI. Other issues recommended by CABE could be two term end exams, one to be conducted by board and other by respective schools.
