Highlights of 67th Primetime Emmy Awards

Today:- The 67th Prime time Emmy Awards were all about “Game of Thrones”, the popular fantasy show. The popularity can be measured the fact that it had 83 nominations in the Primetime Emmy Awards.
The story revolves between two families battling for the throne is a hugely popular series on HBO. Game of Thrones won the best drama series; the other nominations were “Better Call Saul”, “Downton Abbey”, and “Homeland”, “House of Cards”, Mad Man and “Orange is The New Black”.
Peter Dinklage won the best supporting role for playing the role of Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones also grabbed the award for best direction, courtesy David Nutter for his work on “Mother Mercy”.
David Benioff and D.B. Weiss won the award for best writing for Game of Thrones. All in all they won 12 awards at the ceremony, which sets a new record.
The other winners were Uzo Aduba for “Orange is The New Black” in the supporting actress category. John Hamm for Best Lead Actor for “Mad Man”, Viola Davis won the best Lead Actress for “How to Get Away with Murder.
