Today:- Pre-production of much-talked about remake of 1994 film “The Crow” has reportedly been put on.
The film has fallen victim to relativity bankruptcy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The upcoming revamped version of the Brandon Lee-starring movie was supposed to be helmed by Corin Hardy.
It is being speculated an entire production team had departed the project this week along with “several other” heads of department.
The news comes less than two months after the long-gestating remake lost its male lead.
“Boardwalk Empire” actor Jack Huston was originally attached to headline the pic but he left.
“We look forward to unveiling our new lead and starting to film over the next several weeks,” Hardy said back then.
The original was a fantasy action film directed by Alex Proyas, written by David J Schow and John Shirley.
Brandon, son of martial arts actor Bruce Lee, was accidentally killed on the set during filming by a defective blank. He was 28.
