Queen’s Valley School, Dwarka organised the inter-school fest ‘Aurora 2018: Seed for Life

Today:- July – Queen’s Valley School, Dwarka organised the inter-school fest ‘Aurora 2018: Seed for Life.’ the proceedings of the event were conducted in association with Behes, a non- profit organization that endorses the free flow format of debating with an aim of honing the oratory, analytical and persuasive skills of the participants several schools from Dwarka participated in the how day event. The cultural programme was followed by a speech of school principal Dr Namita Sharma who stressed upon the importance of debating culture and the need to create a platform for youth everywhere to openly express and challenge ideas and opinions on globally relevant issues. The students were categorized in ‘Cubs’ and Lioness’ category. The winners of the event were Queen’s Valley School and Indraprastha International School. The best speaker of the event in the Cubs division as also bagged by a student’s of QVS. To commemorate the event, a panel discussion was conducted on the theme ‘Colours of women’s dreams,’ The eminent speakers shared their thoughts on topics ranging from gender equality, body shaming and positive discrimination to pink tax and gender pay gaps.
