Ramjas School, RK Puram Attended a collaborative project’Changing Minds’

Today:- June – Manjot Singh Matharu and Rekha Batra from Ramjas School, RK Puram Attended a collaborative project ‘Changing Minds’ aiming to break down gender stereotypes through physical activity. The programme was sponsored by British Council and conducted in Lords, London. Nine Schools were selected from India – 5 Public and 4 Government, who were part of this pilot project. The teachers visited Burnt wood School, London and were engaged with stakeholders in relation to Royal Academy of Dance, programme that was delivered in partnership with Marylebone Cricket Club. The four day program was a training of teachers to create a new dance form Integrating skills of cricket and dance. The Thereafter, teachers had to train a group of 30 students in their school, imparting the skills Learnt in the training programme. Reesha, British council Head for the project accompanied the group to London, UK.
